WHY TELESCOPIC ?
Two leaf telescopic gates basically allow twice the opening width into half the opening space. Three leaf uses even less room. If the opening or run off area as we call it is less than than your driveway opening then telescopic may be for you.
Example - If you had a four metre opening but only two and a half metres of run off area with a standard sliding gate there is simply no way to install in this area. Using the telescopic gate kit allows the four metres to slide neatly behind the two and a half metre run off area leaving you four metres of clear driveway.

In recent years hardware suppliers have developed telescopic kits which in the main is a box of all the components that we have always used. Maximum opening is 8 metres (8,00mm) and minimum run off room required is 4,500mm. The kit includes your pulleys, cables, adjustment and floor plates as well as top guides and rollers.
The telescopic heavy kit is designed for commercial and industrial gates with both heavier gate leaves and higher duty cycle than a residential property. The kit can be extended up to 15 metre openings by using a longer cable length.
