SOLAR MOUNTING POSTS
These fully adjustable and sturdy solar mounting posts come in a range of sizes to suit different solar panel sizes. They are fully adjustable to rotate your panel correctly and have bolt down base or concrete in options.
SOLAR PANEL HEAD SECTION
The solar panel post is made up of two sections being the head section and the post or base section.
The head section consists of the top adjustment plate and panel mounting plate. Our panel mounting plates are designed to suit our three panel sizes but can be cut down or added to for other size panels and configurations.
SPH25W - Solar head for 25W panel with swivel plate - $132.00
SPH60W - Solar head for 65W panel with swivel plate - $137.00
SPH25WD - Solar head for two 25W panel with swivel plate - $143.00
SPH60WD - Solar head for two 60W panel with swivel plate - $154.00
ADJUSTABLE HEAD TO POST CONNECTION
It is not good enough to install a solar panel up high and point towards the sky. Which way you point and the angle of the panel are critical to success and in Australia the general rule is thirty five degree angle and facing north.
This is where the adjustable head to post connection comes in. Your post can be mounted to suit your installation and then as you attach your head section you simply rotate to face the panel north before securing with the supplied bolts.
POST AND BASE PLATE
The post itself is made from 75x75 steel Galtube with the adjustable connection welded to the top and a base plate welded to the bottom. Post height is 2400mm or 2.4 metres.
SPSTD - $284.00
SOLAR IN CONCRETE ANCHOR KIT
Solar panels and posts are often faced with some fairly strong wind conditions so suitable anchoring is important. If you have an existing concrete hardstand then fixing with dyna bolts or tiger bolts is your best option but if you intend to install a new concrete pad then use the "SPBASE" kit which consists of a matching base plate to the solar panel post and four "J" anchor bolts. Install the anchor bolts and plate into your freshly poured concrete and when the concrete sets mounting your post is as simple as lowering onto you anchor bolts and tightening the nuts.
