ALUMINIUM SLAT STANDARD

CONSTRUCTION

You can choose from a number of slat widths but 65mm x 16mm slat is the preferred choice. These are then secured at each end in receiver channels using rivets or self drilling screws. Finally you pop on the concealed fixing cover for a nice neat finish.

ASSEMBLY

Any insert panel you order is cut to size and ready to assemble and when asked how handy to I need to be we answer that if you can use a cordless drill and a rivet gun you are most of the way there.
Each insert panel will have three essential components –
  • Side receiver channels.
  • Concealed fixing covers.
  • Infill section (cut to size with a small movement allowance).
  • ALL THOSE RIVETS WILL LOOK UGLY!

Not with the Automatic Solutions system. The whole Easy Gate range includes “concealed fixing covers” which hide all infill fasteners. When complete your covers pop into place and keep everything neat and tidy.

WHAT SIZE RESTRAINTS ARE THERE IN THE INSERT PANELS?

Generally speaking standard fence panels should not exceed 2400mm in width. From a material point of view there is no restriction but over 2400mm wide you will find it necessary to brace any horizontal slats.

    WHAT POSTS SHOULD I USE?

If you need posts use our 65x65 posts with standard panels. You can get the posts in matching colours for the powder coat range and Colorbond terrain for the wood grain Western Red Cedar.

VERTICAL SLAT FENCING PANELS (Like the photo above)

When you prefer vertical panels or wish to use decorative inserts in your fence you will need to look at Standard Framed Panels. As the name suggests they do cost a little more essentially as they need to be framed on all four sides to keep it all together. The bonus of course is a much stronger fence.
