Manufactured by TAU in Italy the ARM270240 is a high quality, powerful 240 volt swing gate electro mechanical operator. This swing gate motor is a perfect example of a commercial operator designed to be also acceptable to high end residential installations. The ARM270240 uses minimum side room and is suitable for gates up to 5.0 metres wide. The ARM270240 is a self locking operator with key operated manual override.. The ARM270240 is a perfect example of you get what you pay for in that it is slightly more expensive than some of it's similar rated cousins but then it boasts a number of features not found on the less expensive models and the build quality is obvious. Internally the ARM270240 is all metal quality build.
It is possible to use a variety of control boards to control the ARM270240 but the the preferred board is the LOGICTAUD770 which can be used as a one or two motor controller. The LOGICTAUD760 has slow down mode and all your safety input features. The LOGICTAUD770 like all TAU product is robust and tough whilst simple to use. ARMPOSTKIT - The ARM270240 is supplied with a weld on post bracket considered necessary for the size of gate the motor is designed for. It is possible to purchase a spare part known as ARMPOSTKIT which consists of two bolt together plates that with oyu weld on bracket make the installation weld free.
PHOTOCELLS - A must have if you use automatic closing function is photocells. Photocells provide an extra level of safety to prevent gates from closing on vehicles or pedestrians.
